New magazine for Women executives: Women 3.0

Well, just as i’d noted the coming out of a French magazine publication for high level professional women and business owners, called ‘ Je’ (meaning ‘I’ in French), comes out Women 3.0 magazine, with a bang. They barely have a web site and manage to get great media coverage with their first issue, which presents a survey of the Top 100 executive women in America.

Since the top women chosen work at the like of Accenture and Deloitte, Women 3.0 is mentioned on hundreds of these major companies’ sites.Now that’s smart PR!

Their tagline:
“Enhancing your Lifestyle through financial empowerment”.

The need for such a publication is obvious:

To present business and personal issues this demographic must grapple with. Why for women and not for all professionals? Because they face specific situations and needs as women and as mothers in some cases.
Themes the glossy magazine covers:

- New Study provides insight into Women’ Business Owners’ Financial Strategies

I assume there are some differences with men business owners.

- Women’s Eye Health is discussed in a report by the Women’s Health group

Women live longer, hence their eyes need more care.

- Land Rover pairs with Maria Shaparova

Interesting to see a typically masculine brand choose a woman, albeit a very athletic and beautiful one, as its ambassador.
