As I spend a lot of time analyzing the online social networking phenomenon, as a web entrepreneur and marketing communications professional, I ‘d like to ask you women visitors a question:
Is there a feminine approach and a masucline approach to online networking?
One of my hypotheses:

There are a few particularities that a good social network for upper class women 25-55 should have, in my view.
Be a safe and private place to meet and exchange:
This means: don’t make this a network that’s open to all and anyone or make all the posts visible to any visitor, simply for page views sake. [...]

Well its about time! A slew of mommy, parenting and family web 2.0 sites have popped up and are popping up as we speak in the US and Australia – from the latest news I have. Hopefully the family-focused network I’m associated with will pop up from (surprise, depends where it gets financed) soon.
